The Enterprise team is seeking a new Business Development Representative to generate qualified meetings for our Hotel Account Executives focused on the independent hotel segment. This is a 100% cold outbound role where you will strategically prospect and book meetings with key decision-makers at hotels. You'll be delivering a consultative pitch to General Managers, Hotel Managers, Owners, and Operations leaders. This is a great opportunity to develop your outbound phone skills, build a career in sales, and help grow this exciting new vertical in the enterprise organization!

You’ll work closely with seasoned Hotel Account Executives to develop targeted prospecting strategies and gain exposure to the full Enterprise sales process.

What you'll do (Responsibilities)

100% outbound prospecting to book qualified meetings for our sales team.
Generate interest through cold calling and other outreach methods to break into net new hotel accounts (70+ outreaches per day).
Schedule and confirm discovery calls, owning the process until the meeting occurs.
Use sales tools and research to find new contacts and build your call list.
Maintain persistent, organized follow-up to re-engage accounts.
Log all activity and update account info in Salesforce.com.
Partner with Hotel Account Executives to refine your target account lists and prospecting strategies.

What you'll need to thrive (Requirements)

1+ years of sales experience
Software/SaaS experience or other related tech space business experience in an outbound sales role.
Fearless and persistent on the phone.
A true hunter who can identify and connect with key decision-makers like owners and GMs.
Well-organized and self-motivated to consistently exceed daily activity goals.
Adaptable and able to build strong internal and external relationships.
High customer empathy and excellent objection-handling skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

What will help you stand out (Nice to Haves/Non-Essential Skills)

Experience with sales tools like Salesforce and/or ZoomInfo.
Hotel industry experience.
MEDDPICC certified.

The estimated Total Targeted Cash compensation range for this role is listed below. Total Targeted Cash for this role consists of a base salary, commission, benefits, and equity (if eligible). This role qualifies for uncapped commissions. The starting salary will be determined based on skills, experience, and geographic location.
