You will join the studio’s User Research team, supporting all productions by delivering reliable, actionable player insights directly useful to development teams.
Our goal: reduce the gap between design intentions and the actual player experience, and help teams make the best possible decisions.

Your Missions
As a User Researcher, you will play a key role in understanding players and evaluating gameplay experience.
Your responsibilities will revolve around four pillars: Testing & Quality, Tools & Methodology, Collaboration & Communication, Ownership & Impact.
Testing & Quality
- Reformulate development teams’ needs into clear and measurable User Research objectives.
- Build tailored testing methodologies adapted to video game constraints and fast-paced evolutions.
- Prepare and coordinate all testing phases, including:
- logistics,
- player recruitment,
- welcoming and moderating sessions.
- Collect both qualitative and quantitative data during sessions (observations, interviews, questionnaires, etc.).
- Analyze results and produce clear, actionable and impactful deliverables, helping improve design, usability, comprehension, and overall game experience.
Tools & Documentation
- Contribute to the evolution of the lab, tools, processes, and UR methodologies.
- Maintain documentation (protocols, methodological guidelines, deliverable templates…).
- Ensure high-quality data management and structure user information in our databases.
- Use department tools (Qualtrics, MainManager, Jira, Miro, Office Suite, database management tools, OBS – configuration).
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with game design, UX, production, and creative direction teams.
- Participate in production rituals (sprints, retrospectives) when required.
- Present results clearly and pedagogically, with a strong focus on actionable recommendations.
- Communicate continuously about analysis progress, identified risks, and recommendations.
Ownership & Impact
- Act as User Research point of contact on selected projects, depending on experience level.
- Play the game regularly and build a deep understanding of design intentions.
- Assess the gap between intentions and actual player experience, and explain its causes.
- Provide thoughtful, neutral, and constructive improvement suggestions.
- Contribute to strengthening the visibility and growth of the User Research team (internally & externally)
What We’re Looking For
Must‑Have
- Strong understanding of game design logic and player experience principles.
- Academic background in Psychology, UX, Game Design or Human Sciences.
- Proven experience in User Research and User Testing moderation.
- Excellent analytical, observational, communication, and synthesis skills.
- Strong video game culture (Console, PC).
- Ability to integrate quickly and communicate easily across teams.
- Fluency in English (spoken & written).
Nice‑to‑Have
- Technical comfort to learn internal tools efficiently.
- Previous experience in video game production.
Recruitment Process
- Application review: our team will examine your profile with care.
- Pre‑qualification call (max 30 min): a first conversation to validate key points of your application.
- Interview 1 – Introduction (1h, online): discussion with a recruiter to learn more about you and assess alignment with the role.
- Technical test (1h): following the first interview, you will receive a practical case study with several questions.
- Interview 2 – Technical (1h, online): a more in‑depth discussion with the studio’s User Research manager to dive into methodology and speak about the job.
