Role Overview

This role is key to building our next generation of mobile applications. You will be responsible for developing innovative, high-performing, and multi-platform apps for both iOS and Android, directly impacting our user experience and helping us scale our services globally. We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Senior Flutter Developer to help us build and maintain our mobile applications. You will work closely with our product and engineering teams to create new features, optimize performance, and ensure our apps provide a seamless, high-quality user experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Developing, deploying, and maintaining high-quality Flutter applications for both iOS and Android.

• Driving strategic improvements for our existing application, including optimising robust architecture, reviewing database models, and enhancing CI/CD pipelines for greater efficiency.

• Translating UI/UX designs and wireframes into clean, scalable, and high-performance code.

• Integrating with remote data sources using RESTful APIs and JSON.

• Implementing cloud messaging APIs and push notifications for enhanced app functionality.

• Developing and executing test automation suites to improve code reliability.

• Debugging and optimizing app performance to ensure smooth operation across all devices.

What You Need

• 3+ years of professional Flutter development experience.

• Proven experience developing and deploying moderately complex Flutter applications to the App Store and Google Play Store.

• Strong background in mobile development, including hands on experience with native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin)

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, especially Git.

• Experience working with location services, maps, and other common native libraries.

• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively troubleshoot and debug applications.

• A keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality user experiences.

Best If You Have

• Familiarity with setting up CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.

• Experience building and executing test automation suites from scratch.

• Worked in an early stage or growing stage start-up

• Experience in the fintech or financial services industry.

• Experience working with globally distributed engineering and product teams.
