The Marketing manager role is responsible for leading national marketing initiatives and client-specific activities in Malta and Cyprus. The Marketing Manager will drive key projects, support ongoing campaigns, and uphold high standards of execution and reporting. The role requires strategic vision, adaptability, and strong collaboration with internal teams, clients, and agency partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in close partnership with the senior marketing manager of Malta & Cyprus to develop and execute the national marketing plan, including outbound cross-border campaigns, local offers, product-focused initiatives, and sponsorships.
- Drive and support client-specific marketing activities, maintaining close collaboration with clients to activate and optimize programs aligned with Visa’s strategic priorities in both markets.
- Manage relationships with agencies to deliver ongoing marketing programs tailored to the Malta and Cyprus markets.
- Oversee administrative aspects of marketing project management, including procurement, contract management, and compliance with internal governance and approval processes.
- Maintain diligent reporting of budgets, campaign results, and key performance indicators, ensuring regular updates to stakeholders and the Head of Marketing.
- Apply strategic planning and precise execution to all marketing initiatives.
- Continuously document key learnings and project status for the team.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
- Proven ability to quickly adapt and deliver results in a fast-paced assignment.
- Experience developing and executing marketing strategies, leveraging local insights and data analytics.
- Strong understanding of the payments, fintech, and consumer landscape.
- Demonstrated management skills, with experience working jointly with partners and agencies.
- Expertise in the media landscape, including digital, social, and influencer channels.
- Excellent project management skills, including budget oversight and campaign reporting.
- Native-level proficiency in English and local languages (Maltese), proficiency in Greek is considered an asset, with strong English communication skills.
