The Consumer Solutions Senior Manager, Malaysia will be part of a dedicated market team that is focused on growing the Visa business and penetration of product solutions and capabilities in Malaysia.
What a Consumer Solutions Director does at Visa:
- Responsible for overall Malaysia consumer products portfolio and solutions planning and implementation. Responsible for Annual Operating Plan including budgeting, goal setting, forecasting, and client/partner relationship level strategies
- Lead development of Go-To-Market plans for Visa’s various consumer related capabilities especially in the Affluent space to clients in Malaysia
- Lead development of Malaysia consumer solutions product strategy including but not limited to consumer value propositions, product rules, pricing, infrastructure capabilities and thought leadership materials
- Collaborate with various Visa internal stakeholders including Country Management, Business Development, Hub Products, Consulting & Analytics, Marketing, Corporate Communications, Operations, Sourcing, Compliance, Legal and Finance to deliver and achieve country goals and targets
- Lead as a subject matter expert in product/portfolio strategy including new product development, product strategy planning and execution on strategic cardholder segment, cardholder loyalty, and cross-border spending to ensure timely delivery of ideas and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
- Build strong working relationships with issuers and partners to ensure a high level of satisfaction with product platform and project implementation which ultimately leads to new issuance mandates as well as net increase in number of credentials, transactions, and payment volume growth
- Lead development of Go-To-Market plans for Visa’s various consumer related capabilities to clients in Malaysia
- Work closely with Global/Market Support Center Product Teams to develop new value propositions for prioritized consumer segments
- Work closely with the Account Executive team and other functional teams on key strategic initiatives that drive growth of consumer portfolios and revenues

What you will need:
- At least 8+ years of payments industry and progressively responsible business experience
- Extensive experience in designing, developing and launching new card / payments products in Malaysia
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills with a keen eye for data extraction, manipulation and insight development with limited data
- Be a leader, self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to influence and communicate effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and presentation skills, and proven ability to influence and communicate effectively
What will also help:
- Preferably work experience in retail / digital banking, consulting or fintech with a proven track record of executing projects for high-performing cross-functional teams
- Advanced knowledge of the Malaysia payments landscape, emerging players, payment product portfolio management, business models, and technological trends is preferred
- Comfortable in working independently while effectively working across functional lines and managing multiple priorities
- Ability to be creative and manage competing priorities to achieve desired end state
