You will optimise our Talent Acquisition function's day-to-day operations, ensuring a seamless, high-quality hiring experience for both candidates and hiring managers globally. You'll be the driving force behind our operational stability, directly impacting how quickly and effectively we scale our business. You will also lead and mentor our dedicated Talent Acquisition team, fostering a positive culture of trust, high performance and continuous improvement. Your success will be measured by your ability to maintain velocity, elevate quality, and leave the function stronger than you found it.
Lead & Mentor: Directly manage and develop the Talent Acquisition team to achieve ambitious hiring goals while upholding our company values. A strong people manager with a track record of fostering a positive and trusting team culture is arguably going to be our biggest assessment criteria - be prepared to demonstrate your skills in this area in the interview process.
Strategise & Execute: Own the end-to-end recruitment strategy, ensuring high-quality, efficient hiring across all regions and functions (Tech, Revenue, Business functions).
Optimise & Scale: Identify, design, and implement immediate improvements to our processes and tech stack (ATS, reporting) to drive operational excellence and scalability. Previous experience using Ashby is strongly preferred.
Partner & Influence: Act as a trusted strategic advisor to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and hiring managers, providing data-driven insights to inform workforce planning and hiring decisions.
Elevate Our Brand: Actively champion Wayflyer's employee value proposition, ensuring we are attracting diverse, top-tier talent in competitive markets.
Proven Leadership: You have significant experience (5+ years) in Talent Acquisition leadership, including managing and coaching a global or multi-regional team.
Interim Success: You have a demonstrated track record of stepping into an interim or transitional role and rapidly delivering impact and stability.
Operational Excellence: You are a true excellent operator with a "builder's mindset," who won't rest until a process is smarter, faster, and scalable - especially for critical metrics like time-to-hire, quality of hire and Candidate and Hiring Manager NPS.
Global Acumen: You possess hands-on experience scaling recruitment efforts in multiple geographies, ideally including the US and Europe.
Data-Driven: You are fluent in using data (metrics, reporting, dashboards) to champion compliance, diagnose problems, and drive decision-making.
Experience in a high-growth FinTech or SaaS environment.
Direct experience managing a budget and vendor relationships (e.g., recruitment agencies, job boards).
A strong network and a history of personally closing senior, hard-to-fill roles.

Our headquarters operates a hybrid model. The number of in-office days depends on your team, but the majority of teams and our SLT are typically in 3-4 days per week, giving you valuable exposure to senior leadership.

Home to around 30 employees, our brand-new London office also runs on a hybrid model. You’ll often find our CEO working alongside the team with regular visits.
🇦🇺 Sydney, Small but Mighty
Our close-knit Sydney office has around 20 employees and follows a flexible hybrid model, fostering strong collaboration.
🇺🇸 Atlanta, New York & Charlotte, Stateside Collaboration
Each of our US offices has 8-10 employees and operates with a flexible hybrid approach, blending in-person connection with remote freedom.
🌍 Remote, Across the US & Europe
The majority of our Tech org works remotely across the UK and Europe, coming together throughout the year for off-sites, company kick off and technical kick off. We also have a growing number of remote team members across the US.
