We are looking for an Accountant to join our team at Yepoda. This role will involve performing financial operations, ensuring compliance with German accounting standards, and supporting the team as we continue to scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day financial operations including bookkeeping, invoicing, and payment processing

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements preparation in accordance with HGB

• Support during the statutory audits and ensure compliance with tax and legal regulations

• Support on implementing ERP system and setting up new projects and flows from scratch on

• Collaborate cross-functionally to support other departments with financial insights

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

• 2+ years of relevant work experience in GL-accounting

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and hands-on mentality

• Process driven and excited about setting up new projects and flows from scratch on

• Solid knowledge of German GAAP (HGB), experience with DATEV is a plus

• Experience in e-commerce is a plus

• Fluent in English, German/Italian/French/Spanish are a plus
