Substance Abuse Counselor (CADC)
📍 Asheville, NC (Hybrid: Work From Home + 1 Day/Week Onsite)
💲 $19–$24 per hour
🕒 Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Pyramid Healthcare in Asheville is seeking a dedicated and fully credentialed CADC to join our mission-driven team in a hybrid counseling role. Enjoy the flexibility of working from home while still engaging in meaningful in-person collaboration at least one day per week at our Asheville office.
In this role, you will provide high-quality, client-centered substance use counseling through:
Facilitating individual, group, and family counseling sessions
Conducting behavioral assessments and contributing to individualized treatment plans
Completing accurate and timely clinical documentation in our electronic system
Supporting aftercare planning and coordinating with community partners and providers
Assisting with crisis intervention as needed
Participating in team meetings, trainings, and clinical case discussions (virtually and onsite)
Helping support a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment during onsite days
Required:
Fully credentialed CADC in North Carolina (not CADC-I)
Education:
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or higher in a human services field
Accepted: High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree with CADC
Plus:
A strong commitment to serving individuals with substance use and co-occurring disorders
Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Experience with trauma-informed care or mental health treatment (preferred)
