Overview:
It is an exciting time to join ANS. We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Director of Transmission Line Engineering (servant leader) to join our growing team. This is a player/coach role with tremendous opportunity for growth. The Director has full responsibility for organizing, executing, and leading an engineering organization in the successful execution of a diverse range of complex engineering projects and services in a team-oriented environment. As a business leader, you will collaborate with your team and support staff, to drive advancements in the Renewables Industry, focusing on Solar and Battery Energy Storage projects as well as Utility Interconnections.
Key Responsibilities:
·Strategic Leadership: The successful candidate will provide strong leadership, overseeing team management, staffing, planning, training, and resource development to ensure the successful execution of projects. This leader will drive the delivery of transmission line projects ensuring they meet quality standards and client specific requirements. Additionally, this role will be responsible for establishing and communicating short- and long-term goals, with clear KPIs to guide performance and project success.
·Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, across multiple departments (and geographies) to ensure project execution to support company goals and business objectives. Work closely with other departments driving excellence in the overall execution and client experience at ANS.
