Responsibilities:

·        Coding of transactions in client Xero files

·        Preparation of business BAS and IAS

·        Prepare financial statements for companies and trusts

·        Prepare income tax returns for companies and trusts

·        Preparation of individual tax returns

·        Prepare working papers to support the above

·        Preparation of Xero and other management reports

·        Assistance with in-house/ value add projects when required

·        Management of personal workflow

·        Assist other team members with various ad hoc duties

Qualifications

·        Tertiary qualification in accounting

·        At least 3/5 or more years of similar experience in Australian Chartered Accounting experience.

·        Knowledge and understanding of accounting and taxation concepts

·        Experience with Xero

·        Excellent knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office products

·        Strong written and verbal English skills

·        Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with other team members and clients

·        Excellent attention to detail

·        Strong organisational and time management skills

·        Willingness to assist and support others as required and work with team members
