About the Role/Specialty
As the Global Education Creators Community Manager, you will own the strategy and execution of community initiatives that grow, engage, and support Education Creators globally. You will lead the experience for our English‑speaking/global community while enabling international Community Managers with the processes, tools, and insights they need to grow Education Creators in their regions.
You’ll design and deliver skills‑building workshops, nurture creator relationships, develop prospecting and retention programs. You’ll also ensure education creator content aligns with our strategic objectives, educational best practices and Canva’s creative standards. In short, you will be the architect of belonging—supporting Creators through their entire lifecycle, from onboarding to long‑term retention.
What you’ll do (responsibilities)
Develop and execute global strategies to grow the volume, impact and specificity of the content produced by our Education Creators.
Lead the US and Australian Education Creator communities, building a sense of belonging and purpose.
Collaborate with our education and creators teams to create enablement content and systems that help Creators improve both design and pedagogical skills.
Support international Community Managers by creating toolkits, workshop assets, and ready‑to‑run initiatives.
Create and own a global content briefing and events calendar that motivates and inspires our Education Creators.
Oversee the Creator experience from acquisition to long‑term retention, ensuring creators feel supported and successful.
Gather feedback, insights, and data from Creators to inform program decisions and identify opportunities.
Build strong relationships with Creators, offering guidance, support, and actionable feedback.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with the Learning Experience team, content, review, marketing, and product to meet shared goals.
Manage communications with Creators—crafting inclusive, clear, and motivating messages across channels.
What we're looking for
Experience scaling global community programs in K12 education, community management, creator programs, or a related field
Deep knowledge of the K12 education landscape, with the ability to identify trends, nurture talent, and guide creators to produce relevant content.
A community‑builder at heart who understands how to foster belonging and motivate contributors.
Collaborative operator, experienced in working cross-functionally with content, SEO, international, marketing and content teams to align on strategy and drive impact in fast-moving environments
Thrives in ambiguity and fast-changing environments, able to navigate evolving priorities with flexibility, creativity, and a solution-oriented mindset.
A data‑informed mindset, comfortable interpreting insights and applying them to strategy.
Ability to create systems, toolkits, and scalable processes for global enablement.
Comfortable with productivity and marketing tools such as Google Suite, Monday.com, Hubspot, or equivalent for tracking, reporting, and communications.
Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with comfort leading workshops and trainings.
Strong relationship builder, able to develop trust and maintain close ties with creators, and internal stakeholders.
Familiarity with design principles or classroom pedagogy is a strong plus.

This is a role where your community-building instincts will shape how we nurture and grow the Education Creators ecosystem, and you'll see your programs translate into curriculum-aligned content that reaches classrooms globally.
Through Canva's professional development programs and the Marketing and Creators subspecialty infrastructure, you'll sharpen your facilitation skills, data-informed decision making, and ability to create scalable systems that enable international teams.
