We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative.
As Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those plans to the upper management. You will join our 15-person team at a fast-growing seed-stage fintech. We’re on a mission to transform how $670 billion in cross-border business payments are made each year in Africa. Reporting to Cameroon GM, this role will be at the center of our growth strategy in the CEMAC region — building a deep understanding of the market and potential customers, testing new acquisition channels, and scaling those that work to meet ambitious growth targets.
Acquire new corporate customers in Cameroon (and rest of CEMAC region as we expand)
Implement strategies for retaining customers while increasing their volume with Capi
Drive revenue growth
Map out the competitive landscape in CMR (Track competitor pricing) and where Capi Money’s value proposition lies
Refine our sales pitch and build compelling sales materials
Test different acquisition channels and build new processes to scale the ones that work
Be the voice of the customer — and work with our product and ops team to make sure we are meeting the needs and expectations of our customers, in a localised way
5+ years of experience as a Sales leadership position in a high-performing environment, ideally in the fintech or startup space
Results-driven mindset

Language requirements:
Fluent in English
Fluent in French
“No task too small” mindset
Previous experience at early-stage VC-backed start-up, or at top-tier consultancy, etc.
Previous experience working in or with emerging markets
Previous experience building and working with online CRM tools

This is a full-time position with competitive salary, share options, and benefits
Role will be remote to start with; may change to hybrid as we grow and will require occasional travel to Douala offices & other company locations
