The Senior FP&A Analyst is a critical member of the Finance team, with primary responsibility for revenue and ARR analysis, KPI reporting, month-end close support, and forecasting. This position focuses on delivering accurate, timely, and decision-ready insights across revenue, bookings, and retention metrics. The role partners closely with Accounting, Sales, and Delivery to ensure revenue and ARR performance are well understood, reconciled, and clearly communicated by segment.

Your day to day:
- Own revenue-focused month-end close activities, including preparation, review, and analysis of revenue and ARR results, variances, and trends versus forecast and prior periods.
- Prepare and analyze recurring revenue KPIs, including ARR, Gross Revenue Retention (GRR), Net Revenue Retention (NRR), churn, expansion, and downsell, with clear drivers and executive-ready commentary.
- Analyze ARR and revenue performance by segment (e.g., customer type, product, service line, geography, or industry), highlighting growth drivers, retention trends, and risk areas.
- Reconcile monthly bookings data to CRM and financial systems, ensuring alignment between bookings, backlog, ARR, billings, and revenue.
- Support revenue and ARR forecasting and budgeting processes, including pipeline analysis, backlog rollforwards, and forecast-to-actual explanations.
- Prapare and maintain management reporting packages and dashboards supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and ARR performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Delivery, Operations, and Accounting to align operational activity with reported revenue, ARR, bookings, and retention metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, and standardization of revenue, ARR, KPI, and bookings reporting processes.
- Assist Revenue Accounting as needed to review revenue recognition results, deferred revenue movements, and contract-level activity under ASC 606.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or equivalent work experience preferred
- 3-5+ years of experience in FP&A, revenue analysis, or accounting ideally within a SaaS or life sciences technology environment preferred
- Big 4, PE or investment banking experience preferred
- Candidates will show comfort using AI tools to improve accuracy, efficiency and insight.
- Hands-on experience calculating and analyzing ARR and SaaS-style KPIs such as GRR, NRR, churn, expansion, and downsell.
- Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling.
- Experience working with ERP, NetSuite, SuiteProjects, and Salesforce preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to meet close, reporting, and forecasting deadlines.
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition and its interaction with bookings, backlog, ARR, and retention metrics.
- Experience in segmented ARR reporting (e.g., by product, customer cohort, or industry).
- Experience building or enhancing revenue, ARR, and KPI dashboards for senior leadership or board reporting
