We currently have a vacancy for a Application Architect in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Tasks:
- Work within the agile process and take decisions regarding priority, business value, and functionality for all the work done by the agile development team;
- Follow a number of activities across different projects and contractors requiring technical and project management skills: understand and comply to a review process, monitor status of certain tasks, coordinate internally and gather input from within the unit, other units, or within the Simpl programme. Typically supervise several business analysts;
- Possess an in-depth knowledge of goals and desired objectives of the project;
- Interact with business analysts, customer, users, project leaders and the developers;
- Analyse the integration of the different environments in the l Programme;
- Supervise the implementation of the technical architecture, including an analysis of the integration and interoperability of different existing open-source software building blocks that will be included in the cloud architecture;
- Assist during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation, and reporting.
