A senior member of Experian's Global Compliance function, the Process Excellence and Operations Lead combines expertise in business analysis, process redesign, and system optimization with a focus on continuous improvement. Reporting to the Head of Compliance Programme & Business Partnering you will shape and implement the global strategy that transforms how Compliance operates through process optimization and technology deployment.
What you'll do:
Lead Compliance Process Excellence Strategy & Implementation
- Guide the global compliance process excellence strategy, leading projects focused on process improvement and technology transformation.
- Monitor RegTech trends and new technologies to ensure systems remain adaptable to evolving regulatory requirements.
- Recommend tools for piloting or wider adoption.
- Collaborate with global compliance team members to align priorities, timelines, and resources.
- Provide regular reporting to senior management on program status, key metrics, risks, and challenges.
- Lead change initiatives across diverse cultural environments and integrate solutions across multiple functions and geographies.
Ensure Continuous Improvement Through Operational & Technology Solutions
- Conduct analysis to identify high‑impact opportunities for process enhancement
- Support technology implementations by presenting clear requirements aligned with compliance and our needs.
- Develop continuous improvement strategies, leading projects from design to successful implementation.
- Collaborate with technology teams to deploy automation solutions (e.g., RPA, AI) that enhance accuracy and efficiency
- Create process documentation and technical specifications for all deliverables.
- Partner with Group Risk Technology to ensure the Archer GRC platform meets compliance needs and regulatory expectations.
- Establish continuous improvement practices, including lessons learned and adoption planning.
- Lead change management activities and support upskilling of global compliance teams on new digital processes.
Manage Compliance-Owned Systems & Technology Engagements
- Be the engagement owner for compliance-owned software systems, maintaining understanding of system capabilities and requirements.
- Manage relationships with external technology vendors, ensuring adherence to Experian's standards, policies, and best practices.
What you'll bring:
- 6+ years of experience in operations or software development
- Familiarity with AI tools and and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience setting and achieving targets
- Experience in senior stakeholder and relationship management within diverse business environments.
