Senior Outwards Reinsurance Technician

We’re supporting a leading insurance services firm in the Lloyd’s Markets as they look to appoint an experienced Senior Outward Reinsurance Technician. This is a key role within their operations team, focused on delivering high-quality reinsurance processing, oversight and client service across multiple accounts.

As a Senior Outward Reinsurance Technician, you’ll take ownership of reinsurance asset management and technical processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery across a broad portfolio of clients. You’ll act as a point of expertise within the team, supporting colleagues, strengthening client relationships and helping to solve technical or process-driven challenges as they arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage reinsurance assets in line with procedure guides and SLAs
• Prepare, calculate and issue recoveries, premiums and IBNRs; process entries into client systems
• Handle internal and external queries with cedants, reinsurers and client contacts
• Maintain accurate, compliant reinsurance records to meet operational, audit and regulatory requirements
• Support a positive, collaborative team environment and act as a role model for best practice
• Work across multiple client accounts when required and assist other teams
• Operate in line with company policies, regulatory frameworks and service-specific guidelines
