We are seeking a highly efficient, detail-oriented Video Editor to support a large backlog of YouTube content that needs to be repurposed for a new FAST Channel. This role is focused 100% on production execution, no creative strategy required.
The Editor will work on:
- YouTube videos
- Podcast episodes
- Long-form content (1–1.5 hours)
- Videos requiring removal of sponsor logos, overlays, and lower thirds
Since raw footage often does not exist, editing will involve ripping YouTube files, removing sponsor elements, and applying replacement graphics being provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Editing & Post-Production
- Edit long-form videos (1–1.5 hours), podcasts, and evergreen content using Adobe Premiere Pro (required).
- Rip videos directly from YouTube in the highest possible quality due to limited access to raw footage.
- Remove all CTAs, logos, overlays, and sponsorship elements to comply with FAST Channel licensing requirements. (Examples include removing SeatGeek lower thirds, T- Mobile logos, DraftKings ad reads, Mountain Dew cans, etc.)
- Apply replacement overlays or pennants provided by the creative team.
- Cut out commercial breaks, brand ad reads, or embedded promos entirely.
- Export final deliverables as mp4 files, organized and labeled correctly for team review.
