Hyperbound·2 months ago
We’re looking for a hungry, world-class QA engineer to join us in-person, 5 days/week at our San Francisco HQ in South Park.
About Hyperbound
Hyperbound (YC S23) is building the Sales Performance OS, a new category of sales-tech that gives enterprise sales orgs an unfair advantage by observing, measuring, and scaling top-performer behaviors. This category is inevitable: within 5 years, every sales org will run on a system like this.
We just raised our $15M Series A and closed $1M+ in new ARR two months in a row. We’re scaling from 15 → 30+ teammates this year, and you’ll be joining right before liftoff.
About the role
We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to build Hyperbound’s QA function from the ground up—owning strategy, automation, and execution. This is a 0→1 role: you’ll set the framework for functional, performance, and compliance testing, scale automation across our stack, and ensure our processes are safe, reliable, and high-performing. You will also embed QA into CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, enterprise-grade releases.
If you’re passionate about building high-quality systems and want the freedom to shape a best-in-class QA pipeline, this role is made for you.
Key Responsibilities
Own QA strategy, defining frameworks for automation, functional, performance, and compliance testing
Build and scale test automation for UI and API coverage
Ensure reliability by expanding automation coverage, monitoring dashboards, and resolving test failures quickly
Guarantee accuracy, security, and compliance (HIPAA/SOC-2), partnering with Engineering
Embed QA into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and related tooling
Nice-to-Have
Experience testing AI/LLM workflows
Familiarity with dashboarding and observability tooling
GitHub Actions CI/CD integration experience
Prior startup QA background
Success OKRs (60 Days)
Establish automated test coverage across UI and API workflows
Integrate QA pipelines into GitHub Actions for reliable CI/CD
Deliver measurable improvements in test reliability and release confidence
Culture Fit
Persistent, driven problem solver
Willing to push back to defend quality/timelines
Thrives in high-ambiguity, fast-paced startup environments
What we offer:
Opportunity to be a founding member of a high-growth startup with a significant impact on the company’s success (growing 20% month over month)
Competitive salary and equity package
Ability to learn more than you can ever imagine in a short period of time
***This is not a remote role! 5x/week at our SF office in South Park.
