- Monitor security alerts, review and triage security tickets, and escalate issues as necessary.
- Assist in investigating and resolving security incidents in collaboration with the IT and service desk teams.
- Provide support across a variety of security products including email security, end point, web filtering.
- Act as a point of contact for security-related inquiries from staff and other departments.
- Contribute to maintaining and updating documentation for security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Assisting with both scheduled and unscheduled security assurance activities to test the effectiveness of security controls (e.g. Internal audits, security control testing, incident response exercises).
- Appropriate degree and/or industry qualifications and certifications.
- A foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles, tools, and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of security platforms, firewalls, antivirus software, or other security systems is an advantage.
- Suitable experience including at least 1 years in an IT or cybersecurity role is a plus but not required.
