Join us as an Internal Auditor - Finance (based in Paris or Milan) and participate in enhancing Qonto's finance audit function from the ground up as one of the first members of our Internal Audit team. You'll contribute in building robust audit methodology while ensuring oversight of our finance processes serving 600,000 customers across Europe. You will play a key role in establishing audit standards and processes as we scale towards serving one million SMEs by 2028.
👩💻🧑💻 As an Internal Auditor - Finance at Qonto, you will:
• Contribute to audit missions: Support and execute finance audit initiatives in collaboration with the internal audit team and external providers to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations;
•Participate in centralized finance process audits: Support audits covering treasury, accounting, and regulatory reporting processes led from headquarters.
•Follow-Up on recommendations : Ensure timely implementation and monitoring of audit recommendations;
•Assist in conducting the annual risk assessment: Assist the Head of Internal Audit in conducting the annual risk assessment on finance risks.

Catherine joined Qonto in March 2024, bringing over 12 years of experience in the banking sector, with a strong focus on retail and corporate banking and payment services. Throughout her career, she has held diverse roles in sales, internal audit, and risk management. At Qonto, she was recruited to establish the company's internal audit function, laying a solid foundation to support Qonto's safe and sustainable growth.

Passionate about her work, Catherine brings a positive perspective to the role of internal audit at Qonto, focusing on continuous improvement and safeguarding the group's interests. As an experienced manager, she will support you with care and guidance to succeed in your role and advance within Qonto.
🏅About You
•Internal Audit expertise: Demonstrated experience as an internal auditor (finance) in banking, fintech, or payment institutions, with proven ability to participate in complex audit mission (CIA certification a plus)
•Technical knowledge: Solid expertise in banking accounting and IFRS, with hands-on experience in financial instruments, regulatory reporting, and bank audit environments; knowledge of French banking regulation (ANC 2014-07) and IFRS topics impacting financial institutions is a strong plus.
•Independent: Capable of working autonomously, and building relationships with technical teams
•Methodology builder: Experience creating audit procedures and frameworks from scratch, with ability to balance thoroughness with agility in a fast-growing environment
•Clear technical communication: Excellent at translating technical audit findings into clear recommendations for both technical teams and senior management
•Languages: Fluency in English required; proficiency in French is a bonus.
