We are seeking an experienced Global People Operations & Total Rewards Managerwith strong expertise across the employee lifecycle, global payroll, and total rewards, along with deep knowledge of Hungarian labor law. This role partners closely with People, Finance, Legal, and external vendors to drive operational excellence across global HR programs.
This role will be based in our Budapest, Hungary office on a hybrid work schedule.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Lead cross-functional global HR projects to improve processes, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Own global and Hungary-specific HR documentation, knowledge management, and data accuracy.
Use data-driven insights to enhance employee and manager experience.
Lead global total rewards strategy, including compensation frameworks, benefits, and leave programs.
Own the company’s ESOP program, including administration, communication, and compliance.
Lead global mobility initiatives, including relocation, immigration coordination, and cross-border employment.
Manage end-to-end global payroll operations across regions, partnering with external vendors.
Ensure payroll accuracy, tax compliance, and statutory reporting requirements are met.
Maintain compliant HR operations in line with Hungarian labor law and applicable international regulations.
Coordinate employee-related tax documentation and reporting.
Own, maintain, and update global HR policies in partnership with Legal and Finance.
Manage external HR vendors and EOR providers to ensure service quality and compliance.
Oversee HR systems including HiBob, Everstage, Pave, and global payroll/HCM platforms.
WHAT YOU’ll BRING:
5+ years of experience in People Operations, Total Rewards, or HR Operations, including people or program ownership.
Strong hands-on expertise across the employee lifecycle, payroll, documentation, and core HR operations.
Deep knowledge of Hungarian labor law, payroll, taxation, and social security.
Experience supporting global HR operations, including mobility, benefits, and compensation programs.
Proven experience managing ESOP programs, global compensation frameworks, and EOR vendors.
Proficiency with HR systems such as HiBob and Everstage; familiarity with Pave and global HCM/payroll platforms.
Strong project management skills with the ability to partner effectively across stakeholders.
Fluent in English; exposure to UK, US, or global HR practices is a plus.
