About the Position
In the high-level Acoustic Design Engineering role, the Designer III will have well-rounded acoustic design experience, be proficient in their production skills in Revit, and will have a basic understanding of the other disciplines within TEECOM. This individual supports the design process from conceptual design through construction administration. On select projects, the designer will be involved in the process of virtually constructing a building, as well as, documenting the design contract from the construction documents set through record drawing submittals. It is their responsibility to self-manage assigned tasks and to be the go-to person on projects for reviews, modeling, and project documentation. The designer will also ensure effective collaboration and coordination both internally and externally to TEECOM and accuracy on all projects. This individual will take on the technical responsibility of the projects they work on by performing calculations, designing systems, and leading development of deliverables with minimal support from the discipline lead on their projects. They will continue to be mentored in their focus discipline.
The individual will receive thorough instruction through mentorship, hands-on tool training (including Revit), and opportunities to shadow senior level technical staff to learn from their experience.
