Founded in 2015 with offices in London - UK, London - Ontario, Atlanta and Singapore, we have many thousands of users of our B2B platform across the globe. Brands using Tyk range from Lotte, Bell, T Mobile, to RBS, Capital One and Vinci. We have a varied user base hailing from every continent – even Antarctica.

The role:
We’re looking for a seasoned Technical Lead who will own and advance all non-functional engineering capabilities across the organisation, covering observability, performance, testing infrastructure, CI/CD optimisation, and developer experience. They will set the architectural vision, define standards and principles, and deliver scalable solutions used by multiple engineering teams.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on systems thinker, primarily coding in Go, who can design complex solutions, mentor engineers, and improve reliability and productivity through measurable impact. The role blends deep technical work: building frameworks, solving performance issues, and automating systems with strategic influence, shaping long-term roadmaps, and driving adoption without direct authority.
