Systems Engineer (Nutanix)

We are continuously growing and we are looking for a professional Systems Engineer (Nutanix) to join our UniQue Luxemburg team, with proven experience and specific knowledge on Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure, who will play a key role in deploying and operating the new infrastructure for the Operational Digital Infrastructure Network as well as managing the overall systems infrastructure based on Nutanix Hypervisor and technologies

What will you be bringing to the team?

• Provision of expert advice and assistance, technology watch, architectural considerations, risk analysis, gap analysis, applicable standards, solution patterns and best practices in the area Systems, infrastructure engineering and virtualized infrastructure (specifically hyperconverged/Nutanix)

• Provision of technical studies

• Elaboration of design documentation, with consultation with stakeholders

• Elaboration of vision documents focused upon Systems components

• Deliver the design, installation and configuration of these technologies

• Operate European Institution's IT services according to agreed service levels, ITSM best practices, internal policies and procedures

• Provide 2nd and 3rd level of technical support, register and troubleshoot incidents and escalating to external parties

• Creation and testing of standard operational procedures – backups, restore, monitoring etc.

• Implementing, configuring, administering, monitoring and maintaining the European Institution's IT systems to deliver a 24/7 secure, reliable and efficient service for European Institution's CMS and the whole organization
