The Role
The Sales Director is driven to generate cash for customers while fulfilling the promise of the energy transition. This role requires a balance of “hunter” and “farmer” skills, focusing on the sale of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) optimization services and demand response programs, and comprehensive account management for commercial and industrial (C&I) clients. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted customer advisor, managing the entire sales lifecycle, and collaborate cross-functionally to develop, propose, and close business opportunities that maximize an asset’s or facility’s operational flexibility to generate cash and unlock bill savings while enhancing grid reliability.
Our product - developed to help solve the greatest problem of our time, the climate crisis - is tested and proven, and we have moved from startup to significant (and rapid) growth stage. We need a strong sales professional who loves to win, excels at cross-functional collaboration and communication to ensure proposed solutions are technically viable and economically attractive, and enjoys building and maintaining relationships with key customers.
