Job Responsibilities:

CLIENT SERVICE EXCELLENCE AND EXPERTISE

● Preparation of all required non-profit 990 tax returns, including Form 990, 990-EZ, 990-N and 990-T forms and any related applicable state forms

● Identifies tax credits and deductions available to non-profit organizations

● Ensures client work is performed within time, scope, and budget

● Manages engagement and client expectations, ensures satisfaction, and communicates upward to assigned Supervisor

● Researches and reviews work papers for various book to tax differences

● Ability to apply relevant tax law to particular clients and circumstances

● Demonstrates an understanding of and applies tax planning concepts

● Strong knowledge of tax codes, regulations, rulings, and case law

● Review research findings, tax returns, and client tax work papers to ensure conclusions are consistent with firm policies and professional standards

● Understands and follows all firm policies, AICPA ethics rules, Circular 230, 6694, and other professional standards

● Additional duties as assigned

PRODUCTIVITY & BUSINESS GROWTH

● Undergraduate degree required; Master’s preferred

● Active CPA License required

● 1-3 years of tax experience is preferred

● Comprehensive understanding of tax code/rules and implications

● Experience preparing returns and researching more complex tax issues

● Strong interpersonal and analytical skills

Work Setup:
Onsite/Hybrid/Work from home

Work Schedule:
During training (2 weeks): 9:00 pm to 5:30 am (plus 1 hour OT)
Post-training: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm (plus 1 hour OT)
