As part of our mission to shape the future of engineering materials, we are seeking an Advanced Development Expert (ADE) Powertrain Electrification to join our talented team. This role is integral to driving forward our advanced material solutions, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of technological advancements.

Your Role:

As an ADE Powertrain Electrification, you will globally lead projects that focus on the development of new technologies and processes addressing e-powertrain components such as e-motors, inverters, high voltage connectors and charging plugs or thermal management or. You will collaborate across various departments to translate innovative ideas into operational strategies and ensure their successful implementation.

While being located in China, you will additionally be the Asian focal point with broader coverage also for applications in automotive electronics as well as battery systems acting as a focal point and key interface to the Asian commercial team.  You will be located at Envalior Shanghai Office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the global Automotive Electrical Powertrain Innovation Segment like an own business
• Analyze market trends and customer needs as input for the Envalior product and technology roadmap
• Technical expertise and knowledge in Electrical Powertrain specifically in the area of high voltage and thermal management.
• Support the global E-Powertrain as well as Automotive Electronics segments in Asia with customer projects and act as a focal point within the Mobility team towards the Asian Envalior commercial team
• Technical expertise and knowledge in Automotive e-powertrain in applications such as high voltage charging systems, e-motors, inverters or busbars.   
• Technical expertise and knowledge in Automotive Electronics in applications such as Sensors, Connectors, Electrical Control Units (ECUs), Car Computers, 48V bus systems, zonal architecture and related requirements toward insulation materials.
• Develop new applications and technologies aligned with the company’s innovation strategy.
• Build strong, close relationships with customers, managing and leading complex projects independently.
• Act as the technical expert for customer discussions, challenging and influencing stakeholders effectively.
• Translate customer needs into actionable development projects and material solutions.
