About the Role

We’re looking for a reliable, no-frills video editor to support a remote podcast focused on hiring, careers, and leadership decision-making.

This is not a creative or cinematic role. The priority is clarity, consistency, and speed — not effects or storytelling flair.

Core Responsibilities

• Editing & Delivery
• Clean up podcast recordings (audio + video)
• Remove long pauses, obvious mistakes, technical glitches
• Apply simple jump cuts only where necessary
• Add pre-set intro/outro (template provided)

Export:

• 1 long-form episode
• 2–3 short clips (30–90 seconds)
• Technical Standards
• Ensure clean audio levels
• Ensure stable framing and resolution
• Maintain consistent look and feel across episodes

What This Role Is NOT

• Not creative direction
• Not storytelling or pacing for drama
• Not motion graphics or heavy effects
• Not thumbnail design
• Not content ideation
• If you enjoy “making things cinematic,” this is not the role.
