This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Export Control Officer - REMOTE. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and oversight of an Enterprise Export Control Compliance Program. Your expertise will facilitate compliance with export control and research security regulations across various departments. As part of a collaborative team, your input will help streamline operations and ensure high standards of compliance, significantly impacting the overall patient care experience.
Accountabilities
- Serve as the enterprise subject matter expert on export control and research security regulations.
- Stay informed on current and changing laws, regulations, and enforcement actions.
- Develop and maintain export control and research security policies and procedures.
- Execute training and education programs on export control and research security.
- Conduct export control reviews and restricted party screenings.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain to integrate compliance into product development processes.
- Work with Protective Services to operationalize travel programs.
- Document and present compliance findings and recommendations.
- Assist research teams with resolving compliance issues.
- Maintain documentation of monitoring reports and investigative findings.
- Collect and analyze data on monitoring findings.
- Manage external inspections by regulatory agencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Advanced degree preferred (master’s, Doctorate, or Juris Doctor).
- Proficient in computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Minimum of seven (7) years experience in export control compliance in a relevant setting.
- At least three (3) years in a program management or supervisory role preferred.
- Effective communication skills with government agencies.
- Working knowledge of export control regulations.
- Project management experience and understanding of root cause analysis.
- Comfort working in matrixed relationships.
