We are expanding our global delivery team and seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to lead strategic business initiatives.
The Senior Business Analyst serves as a strategic bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. This role is responsible for leading complex projects, analysing business processes, and transforming business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, deep analytical expertise, and the ability to influence and drive organizational improvements.
Conduct comprehensive business analysis to identify needs, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
Elicit, document, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements.
Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
Prepare process flows, user stories, and requirement documentation.
Lead planning, prioritization, and estimation activities for analysis tasks.
Collaborate closely with IT, development, QA, and cross-functional business teams.
Act as the primary liaison between business units and technical teams.
Ensure project deliverables meet defined scope, timelines, and quality standards.
Present findings, insights, and recommendations to executive leadership.
Analyse current-state processes to identify inefficiencies and propose optimized workflows.
Recommend solutions that enhance operational efficiency, profitability, and customer experience.
Develop new business models and strategic proposals that support organizational growth.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios, validating outcomes, and ensuring readiness for deployment.
Ensure successful implementation of solutions with minimal business disruption.
Guide, mentor, and support junior business analysts.
Foster a collaborative, knowledge-sharing environment within the team.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in IT or enterprise environments.
Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process mapping, and documentation.
Hands-on experience working with software development teams (Agile/Scrum preferred).
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both business and technical audiences.
Experience presenting to senior leadership and managing stakeholder expectations.
Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, BPMN tools, or similar.
Arabic speaking is mandatory; good English communication is preferred.
