The Sales Director, Air Force will be responsible for driving revenue growth within Air Force accounts, with a focus on expanding the adoption of Second Front Systems’ Game Warden platform. This individual will leverage their deep understanding of the DoD procurement landscape, platform-as-a-service (PaaS) solutions to build and manage relationships with government stakeholders and strategic partners. This position is reporting to the Senior Director of Federal Sales.
Own and grow a portfolio of Air Force accounts, leveraging prior experience selling into these services to navigate service-specific stakeholders, mission priorities, and acquisition pathways.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, ensuring alignment with company revenue goals.
Position and sell the Game Warden platform as a key enabler for mission-critical DoD operations.
Collaborate with internal teams, including Product, Engineering, and Customer Success, to deliver solutions that exceed customer expectations.
Develop and sustain long-term relationships with key DoD stakeholders, including program managers, contracting officers, and technical decision-makers.
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring exceptional customer experience and satisfaction.
Navigate the DoD procurement process to secure multi-year contracts and expand the footprint within key accounts.
Leverage partner relationships to uncover new opportunities and accelerate sales cycles.
Serve as a subject matter expert on compliance as a service and PaaS within the defense sector.
Represent Second Front Systems at industry events and meetings with government leaders.
Demonstrated experience selling into U.S. Air Force accounts, with an established understanding of their organizational structures, mission needs, and procurement environments.
Experience selling compliance as a service (CaaS) or platform-as-a-service (PaaS) solutions.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute account-based sales strategies to penetrate greenfield accounts.
Background in managing and leveraging government contracting vehicles, such as GSA schedules, OTAs, and IDIQs.
Demonstrated ability to effectively use Salesforce CRM to manage sales pipelines, track customer interactions, and generate accurate sales forecasts.
Experience working with cloud platforms, DevSecOps, or secure software solutions tailored for government use.
Familiarity with Second Front Systems’ Game Warden platform or similar technology solutions.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to navigate and collaborate within a fast-paced, scaling startup environment.
Active security clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field (MBA preferred but not required).
Demonstrated experience selling into U.S. Air Force and/or U.S. Navy accounts, with an established understanding of their organizational structures, mission needs, and procurement environments.
Experience working with cloud platforms, DevSecOps, or secure software solutions tailored for government use.
Prior experience working with System Integrators (SIs) and technology partners to co-sell and expand opportunities.
