As a Product Manager you own and deliver Identity Verification features across backend services and mobile/web SDKs. Start by executing sub-scopes under Principal PM guidance, then transition to full product ownership.
This role will report to the Principal Product Manager, IDV
This role offers flexibility and is based in our Budapest office with a hybrid schedule of being in the office approximately three days per week.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Product Delivery & Execution
Translate requirements into lean PRDs, prototypes, acceptance criteria, and sequence diagrams
Manage IDV feature backlog and delivery plans, mapping dependencies across services and SDKs
Coordinate with Backend, Full-stack, Design, and Engineering to scope increments, resolve conflicts, and unblock delivery
Feature Ownership
Support Wallet-based KYC integrations: discovery, API design, rollout, vendor coordination
Own traditional KYC components and their roadmaps
Drive anti-fraud enhancements: deepfake detection, AI-generated ID identification, synthetic fraud prevention
Quality & Performance
Co-own model accuracy targets; set experiments and thresholds with Engineering/ML teams
Define instrumentation and success metrics (accuracy deltas, latency, completion rates, defect escape)
Run UAT and coordinate vendor touchpoints for dataset handoffs and threshold testing
Documentation & Knowledge Management
Own and maintain integration guides, knowledge base entries, sample code, changelogs, and API/SDK documentation
Ensure documentation is versioned with releases and updated pre-release
GTM Enablement & Customer Success
Author short playbooks and demos; lead quarterly trainings/presentations for Sales, SE, and CS teams
Maintain demo scripts and environments
Supervise first 15 customers on any key new product launches
Continually report on early adopter metrics, gather feedback, and actively support customer success
WHAT YOU’ll BRING:
2–4 years product experience with shipped backend/API products and mobile/SDK exposure
Can read OpenAPI/Swagger, use Postman, reason about HTTP, auth, retries, idempotency, rate limits
Strong systems thinking: draw sequence diagrams, map dependencies, basic SQL
Proven conflict resolution and bias to ship with concrete examples
Clear written English for tight PRDs and acceptance criteria
AMAZING IF YOU ALSO HAVE:
IDV/KYC/FinCrime exposure, OCR/ML-powered checks, or human-in-the-loop workflows
Mobile capture flow experience (camera permissions, offline handling, error states)
Observability and A/B testing familiarity
