Senior PCB Design Engineer - High-Speed Systems

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior PCB Design Engineer to join our hardware team developing next-generation optical switching solutions for datacenters. You will be responsible for designing high-speed PCBs that integrate complex ASICs and FPGAs, working at the cutting edge of 400G/800G networking technology.
Key Responsibilities
Lead design of multi-layer PCBs for high-speed digital and RF applications up to 56 GHz
Develop carrier boards integrating Marvell Prestera ASICs and Xilinx Virtex/Versal FPGAs
Implement QSFP-DD interfaces for 400G/800G optical modules
Ensure signal integrity for SerDes lanes operating at 25G/56G/112G
Collaborate with FPGA designers on pinout optimization and I/O planning
Perform SI/PI analysis and design validation
Support board bring-up and debugging activities
Work with manufacturing partners on DFM optimization
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering OR Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in high-speed PCB design (>10Gbps)
Proven track record with controlled impedance and HDI designs
Deep expertise with high-speed interfaces (PCIe Gen4/5, DDR4/DDR5)
Strong understanding of signal integrity and power delivery networks
Extensive experience with BGA fanout for complex packages (1000+ pins)
Proficiency with industry-standard EDA tools
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with datacenter networking hardware
Knowledge of optical transceiver integration
Familiarity with thermal management for high-power devices
Understanding of IEEE 802.3 and OIF standards
Experience with RF design above 25 GHz
