The Role
Our client is looking for a Sales Assistant to join their global team and support Sales and Account Management functions across EMEA, with a focus on sales desk research, account intelligence, and go-to-market execution. This role supports the sales team by researching and qualifying target accounts, coordinating outbound activities, and assisting with early-stage deal assessment and quoting processes.
You will play a critical behind-the-scenes role in enabling effective outbound campaigns, sales visits, and cross-functional coordination with Marketing. This position is ideal for someone who is analytical, highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, global environment.
Core Focus Areas:
1. Sales Desk Research & Account Intelligence
- Proactively research and qualify target accounts and key decision-makers
- Identify new prospect companies and build structured target lists
- Develop tailored first-touch messaging and campaign hooks to support personalized outbound (“basho-style” outreach)
2. Outbound & Go-to-Market Execution
- Set up and manage outbound sequences on behalf of senior sales leaders
- Support city-based sales visits through targeted outreach and meeting preparation
- Assist in planning and coordinating roadshows together with Regional President, Team Leads, and Suveys Directors
- Support multi-channel sales campaigns (e.g. LinkedIn + email), including coordination of client gifting initiatives for key accounts
3. Sales–Marketing Interface (Marketing Support)
- Act as the operational interface between Sales and Marketing, particularly around campaign lists, suppression logic, and timing
- Maintain visibility on active marketing campaigns and ensure alignment with sales-led initiatives
- Coordinate merchandising initiatives with Marketing and manage EMEA-wide ordering
Nice-to-Have / Secondary Responsibilities
- Support identification and preparation of relevant sales events (conferences, client events, internally hosted formats such as lunch & learns)
- Track client-supported training opportunities and ensure follow-up
- Assist with sample coordination and reconciliation of quoted vs. invoiced samples to identify discrepancies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any field. Degrees in quantitative disciplines (Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) are a plus.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical and research skills with a commercial mindset.
- Comfortable supporting senior sales stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with outbound tooling, CRM systems, and campaign execution.
- Highly structured, detail-oriented, and reliable in execution.
- Able to operate cross-functionally between Sales and Marketing.
- Able to work effectively in a global, cross-cultural environment, collaborating with stakeholders across regions (AMER, EMEA & APAC) and time zones.
- Strong communication skills and a high degree of ownership.
