About the Position:
The Procurement Analyst Intern will support the procurement and office administration teams by assisting with key in-office administrative responsibilities, data analysis, vendor research, reporting and process improvement initiatives. This role provides hands-on exposure to strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization while developing analytical and business skills in a fast-paced environment. The internship will run for up to 10 weeks, up to 40 hours a week, commencing on or around June 8th, and concluding by August 14th.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist in analyzing procurement data to identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities
- Support supplier research and evaluation
- Help prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for procurement leadership
- Assist with purchase order monitoring, contract documentation, and compliance checks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Finance, Operations and Accounting
- Maintain and update procurement databases and supplier records
- Support process improvement initiatives and procurement best practices
- Perform ad hoc analysis and administrative tasks as needed
- Meeting Administration: Take detailed meeting notes, coordinate schedules, and ensure follow-up on action items.
- In-Office Administrative Support: Serve as the point of contact for the Denver front desk, process incoming mail, and assist in planning and organizing office events.
What makes you a good fit: (Qualifications)
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Ability to be onsite 3 days per week – Denver HQ office located in McGregor Square
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas); PowerPoint experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment Preferred Qualifications
- Coursework or experience in procurement, supply chain, or data analysis
- Familiarity with ERP or procurement systems (e.g., Netsuite, Coupa)
- Basic knowledge of sourcing, contracts, or vendor management Learning Opportunities
