We are looking for a Belgian qualified lawyer to join our Tier 1 Technology & Data team in Brussels.

With more than 100 experts across our European network, our Technology & Data team is one of the largest and most specialized data and technology teams.
We assist multinational organizations and innovative start-ups on all aspects of GDPR, e-privacy, artificial intelligence, DSA, Data Act, NIS2, DORA and broader digital regulation, often on business-critical and cutting-edge projects.
What you will work on
Recent work of our Brussels team includes:
· a large multijurisdictional AI advisory project for a payroll service provider;
· defending a telecom operator before the DPA's Litigation Chamber;
· acting for a global adtech company in an injunction proceeding before the ordinary courts;
· providing strategic advice on anonymisation to a life sciences company;
· delivering a workshop on the EU AI Act to a non-European central bank;
· advising various clients on the NIS2 scoping assessment;
· negotiating DORA amendments for a financial institution;
· negotiating a SaaS agreement with the provider's life sciences customer;
· drafting a Managed Service Agreement template for a telco operator.
Most of our advisory work is in English, while litigation and enforcement matters are conducted in Dutch and/or French.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
· Hold a Belgian Master in Law degree with excellent results;
· Have an LL.M. or Specialised Master's degree in privacy or ICT law or significant working experience in an English-speaking technology or data environment;
· Bring 2-3 years of experience of relevant experience from an international law firm;
· Are fluent in English, Dutch and French;
· Have a genuine interest in technology and digital;
· Communicate clearly and confidently, both in writing and orally;
· Work thoroughly with attention to detail, think analytically and can translate complex legal issues into clear, practical and actionable advice;
· Are proactive, pragmatic, and comfortable with a good degree of autonomy;
