Glomo (www.glomopay.com) - The first licensed Payment Service Provider (PSP) at GIFT IFSC and a pioneer in cross-border payments is seeking a talented Senior Associate/ AVP Partnerships to join our Mumbai team. With over 100+ years of combined expertise in the cross-border payments space, our team is dedicated to delivering seamless and compliant financial solutions.
In this role, you will own and drive Glomo’s partner relationships across banks, networks, fintechs and other payment infrastructure providers. You’ll collaborate with the leadership team and collaborate across Sales, Product, Risk and Legal to craft, build and manage partners that enable us to build and maintain payments infrastructure that support our global ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, outreach and drive dialogue with potential global bank and fintech partners that support our expanding infrastructure requirements in geographies like ME, US and EU.
Manage ongoing bank stakeholders and drive strategic discussions to help expand the relationship and deliver new solutions across bank product lines and geographies
Navigate complex, multi-thread partner discussions that involve partner front office teams, finance, treasury and compliance teams; articulate our regulatory and FX advantages clearly.
Upsell and cross-sell adjacent products - ability to stitch together workflows and compliant solutions that help us open up new use cases for merchants.
Feed market insights back to Sales and Product so that we stay ahead of customer and regulatory trends. You will help shape Glomo’s trajectory.
What You’ll Need
7-10 years of banking or fintech partnerships experience, with at least 3 years focused on new-partner acquisitions with PSPs, banks, fintech or networks. Experience with global expansion would be a plus.
Proven success owning end-to-end partner cycles and cultivating senior relationships
Comprehensive knowledge of payment flows, trade finance and FX concepts, AML/KYC and Indian cross-border regulations is mandatory. Experience in handling card networks (issuing/ acquiring) and understanding of merchant acquisition would be a plus.
Outstanding written and verbal communication; able to translate use case, technical and compliance jargon into crisp business value propositions. Experience “managing up”, building Executive Level communications and delivering presentations
Tenacity and willingness to learn quickly and the ability to thrive in ambiguity is what we need—you should love building zero-to-one processes as much as closing deals.
