About the Role
iCapital’s Operations and Investment Product Management (OIPM) team is seeking an Associate based in Lisbon who is eager to dig in, learn the business end-to-end, and grow with the firm. This role is designed for someone who wants to develop a deep understanding of iCapital’s platform, products, and operating model by working closely with teams across OIPM.
The Associate will play a meaningful role in supporting internal and client-facing strategic initiatives across EMEA and LatAm, taking ownership of coordination, execution, and follow-through. Responsibilities
Learning the Business & Building Context
- Develop a strong working knowledge of iCapital’s platform, products, and operational workflows by actively engaging with teams across OIPM and related functions.
- Invest time in understanding how regional and global teams collaborate to support clients, products, and platform initiatives.
- Proactively seek feedback and context to continuously improve effectiveness and broaden responsibilities.
Project Management & Execution
- Support internal projects by tracking deliverables, timelines, and ownership across multiple teams and workstreams.
- Maintain action logs and status updates, ensuring commitments are followed through and escalated when needed.
- Take ownership of assigned initiatives, demonstrating accountability and attention to detail.
Meeting & Stakeholder Support
- Help prepare agendas and materials for internal and client-related meetings, ensuring discussions are well-structured and productive.
- Capture key decisions and action items, and ensure clear communication and follow-up with relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate meetings across time zones, with a particular focus on EMEA and LatAm stakeholders.
OIPM & Regional Support
- Provide hands-on support across OIPM functions, including product operations, reporting workflows, and platform-related initiatives.
- Act as a connective tissue between teams, helping ensure alignment and information flow across regions.
- Assist with ad hoc analyses, presentations, and projects that support regional growth and strategic priorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in financial services, operations, project coordination, or a similar role.
- Experience in data analytics and reporting a plus.
- Strong desire to learn, take ownership, and build deep institutional knowledge.
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; with the confidence and professionalism to engage in client‑facing interactions. Fluency in English required. Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus.
- Comfortable working with technology platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
