In this role, you will play a pivotal part in overseeing project scheduling, ensuring that timelines are met and that resources are allocated efficiently. As the bridge between various teams, you will facilitate communication and coordinate efforts to mitigate risks and resolve scheduling conflicts. Accountabilities
- Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for complex project control problems.
- Expert in Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis and mitigation, as well as network logic analysis.
- Support project managers and teams regarding initial phasing plans and CPM schedules.
- Equip project teams and executive management with tools for effective cost control.
- Develop systems for scheduling and controlling internal resources and equipment.
- Assist in the analysis, evaluation, forecasting, and reporting of schedule status.
- Lead performance reviews and personnel development for assigned employees.
- Prepare historical data for project acceleration insights.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a Project Controls position, preferably with public agency projects.
- Basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or related fields.
- Proficient in project controls software, ideally Oracle Primavera, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated potential to perform as a lead Project Scheduler.
- Strong communication skills.
