Accountabilities
- Oversee security operations and personnel at approximately 15 US Government sites across multiple states.
- Manage a team of approximately 30 licensed armed security guards, ensuring effective staffing and response.
- Ensure all services adhere to contract requirements and security regulations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing timely incident reports.
- Supervise and lead the team of armed security personnel effectively.
- Manage personnel issues, including performance reviews and scheduling.
- Collaborate with Human Resources on staffing and onboarding processes.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local security regulations.
- Verify the maintenance and operational use of security equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum of seven years of relevant security experience with three years in security management.
- Prior experience as a licensed security guard is preferred.
- Experience managing security operations with magnetometers and detection wands.
- Familiarity with US Government contract environments, particularly USCIS.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage personnel remotely across various locations.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and maintain required security clearance.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently.
