We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Campaign Strategist who would work collaboratively with the ACAP Director of Marketing and internal teams to develop and execute strategic multichannel campaigns. This role combines expertise in media planning and buying, campaign performance analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
The Senior Campaign Strategist will leverage data-driven insights and campaign reporting to enhance marketing effectiveness, while ensuring campaigns align with ACAP’s goals and brand positioning. This includes developing robust campaign strategies across traditional and digital channels, managing relationships with creative and media agencies, and driving innovation through the adoption of new technologies, including AI tools, to increase efficiency and campaign impact.
This role can be appointed to applicants looking to work from Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane locations.

Key Result Areas:
Campaign Planning & Execution:
- Plan, develop, and implement comprehensive campaign strategies aligned with student acquisition and brand objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to define campaign objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and measurement frameworks.
- Identify audience segments and recommend media channels for optimal reach and performance.
- Work closely with creative and content teams to ensure timely development of campaign assets.
- Monitor live campaigns, conduct A/B testing, and adjust media plans based on performance data.
Campaign Reporting & Optimisation:
- Develop and manage campaign reporting frameworks, including regular performance dashboards and post-intake summaries.
- Analyse campaign data to identify trends, actionable insights, and areas for optimisation.
- Present campaign performance and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
Contractor Management:
- Support the relationship and performance of external contractors, including media vendors, creative agencies, and production teams.
- Coordinate with contractors to ensure timely execution and delivery of campaign assets, including ad creatives, media placements, and reporting.
- Negotiate media placements and explore innovative partnership opportunities.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align campaign strategies with college objectives and brand guidelines.
- Support the presentation of campaign plans, insights, and performance reports to stakeholders demonstrating the value and effectiveness of the campaigns.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor and point of contact for campaign-related discussions and inquiries.
- Engage with media partners and industry influencers to explore collaboration opportunities, secure advantageous placements, and stay updated on emerging trends.
Innovation & Industry Trends:
- Stay informed about new industry trends, advertising technologies, marketing automation tools, and AI applications, and best practices in the education sector, sharing relevant insights with the marketing and brand delivery teams.
- Recommend and trial new tools and platforms to drive efficiency and performance.
- Monitor changes in media consumption and integrate emerging trends into campaign planning.

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field.
- Experience as a campaign strategist, media buyer, or similar role within an advertising agency or marketing department.
- Knowledge of media planning, buying, and optimisation across various platforms, including traditional and digital channels.
- Proficiency in using advertising tools and platforms, such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, or programmatic advertising platforms.
- Sound analytical skills with experience in data analysis, market research, and campaign performance measurement.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and strategies in a clear and concise manner.
- Experience working with agencies and external contractors.
- Ability to manage and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external contractors.
- Familiarity with industry regulations, best practices, and emerging trends in advertising and media planning.
