The Opportunity:
As an Assistant Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in our Asset Transfers team to facilitate the smooth processing of transfer instructions. You will deal with questions about current and new asset transfer work items, and work with external stakeholders and advisers to initiate, validate and process paperwork and any other tasks that make the transfers process smoother.
You have:
Solid understanding of Domestic and International securities (including warrants, LICs, ETFs), bonds, managed funds, International assets, and other unlisted assets.
Sufficient knowledge of Capital Gains tax to be able to review the various forms of Cost Base information provided with transfers and determine what additional information is required.
WRAP platform experience (highly regarded).
Experience within the finance industry is desirable.
While prior experience in FinTech or Financial Services, with an understanding of transfer processes is preferred, we also believe that a proactive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn are just as essential as technical expertise.
We are also open to candidates with transferable skills that include;
Strong communication: to interact with third parties, advisers, and internal stakeholders, providing clear and accurate information on the asset transfer process
Organisation: to manage multiple items, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
Problem solving: to identify and resolve any issues or challenges during the transfer process, such as missing paperwork or discrepancies
Attention to detail: to thoroughly review forms, ensuring accuracy and addressing any errors or inconsistencies
