Omni Design is working on exciting solutions and chips for next generation automotive and space applications and looking for talented and capable engineers.
The Systems Engineering Manager will be responsible for validation and qualification of electrical interfaces and/or performing standards-based protocol tests.
Role and Responsibility
Work with a team of validation and characterization engineers responsible for product qualification.
Work across multiple functional groups to meet overall product design and quality requirements.
Design characterization test, system-level test, and demonstration systems that include MCUs, discreet logic, FPGA, multi-gigabit, and analog circuitry, including requirements gathering, specification, schematic, layout, and mechanical
Work with company buyers to produce designs
Review schematics/layout of internal and customer system platforms as per product requirements.
Engage with potential customers and partners to identify custom requirements and incorporate those requirements into the system test process.
Create/edit test plans based on system specifications that may relate to signal integrity, RF, mechanical integrity, electrical, and requirements based on generic protocols.
Execute and stand behind the qualification of the product, from a mass production perspective, in consumer electronic devices.
Mentor systems and validation team members
