We are looking for a full-time Financial Service Representative on a 9 month contract, to join our team in Amsterdam.
What you'll do:
- Manage accounts receivable activities, including credit and collections, and invoice processing.
- Contact customers with past due payments, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of outstanding balances.
- Provide daily administrative support to the Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Controllers, and other members of the team.
- Assist with special projects as assigned, contributing to the achievement of the department's goals and objectives.
- Cross-train on the responsibilities of the Controller and Accounts Receivable specialist to provide support and coverage when required.
- Utilize excellent communication skills and cultural understanding to build relationships with customers and the Sales team, fostering collaboration and timely resolution of financial matters.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What it takes:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting, customer service, or administrative capacity
- Knowledge of Finance systems and processes
- Proven ability to set clear priorities
- Strong organizational skills
- Detail oriented individual with the ability to multi-task
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills, positive attitude, and a strong sense of urgency
- Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Office
