Our client is a growing direct-to-consumer organization operating at scale across email and SMS marketing channels. The team relies on clean execution, strong processes, and operational excellence to ensure campaigns are delivered accurately and on time. This role supports the day-to-day execution of lifecycle and promotional campaigns and plays a key role in keeping critical marketing channels running smoothly.
Fully Remote | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM EST (30 hours/week)
The Email Marketing Coordinator will support the execution of email and SMS marketing campaigns, focusing on campaign setup, scheduling, and quality control rather than strategy. This role works under the direction of a senior team member and is responsible for ensuring campaigns are accurately built, properly scheduled, and launched without errors.
This position is highly operational and detail-oriented, ideal for someone who is comfortable working within established processes, managing multiple campaigns at once, and owning the day-to-day execution of email and SMS workflows.
Set up, schedule, and deploy email and SMS campaigns based on provided briefs and timelines
Build campaigns according to predefined structures, templates, and requirements
Ensure campaigns are executed accurately and consistently
Manage day-to-day campaign execution within email and SMS platforms
Maintain accuracy across audience targeting, personalization fields, links, and assets
Support smooth operation of email and SMS channels
Perform thorough QA checks prior to campaign launches
Validate formatting, links, personalization, timing, and deliverability settings
Identify and flag issues or errors proactively before deployment
Maintain and manage the email and SMS send calendar
Ensure campaigns are properly scheduled and coordinated to avoid conflicts
Gather required assets, copy, and approvals from internal stakeholders
Monitor active campaigns and execution workflows
Communicate clearly with internal teams regarding timelines, updates, and issues
Support continuous improvement of execution processes
2+ years of experience supporting email and SMS marketing campaigns in an execution-focused role
Experience working within established campaign processes and workflows
Background in DTC or e-commerce environments is a plus
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Comfortable working with email and SMS marketing platforms
Reliable, process-driven, and execution-focused
Email and SMS campaigns consistently launch on time and without errors
Campaigns are accurately built according to briefs and requirements
Internal teams experience smooth coordination with minimal last-minute issues
Email and SMS channels operate reliably with minimal disruptions
Issues are identified and communicated proactively
