The Data Analytics Project Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence within the Data Analytics organization. This role focuses on organizing and managing internal projects, ensuring efficient workflows, and maintaining clear communication to leadership of current priorities. The Project Manager will leverage tools like Jira to create and track projects, assist with time tracking for team members, and coordinate communications related to releases and updates from the analytics team.
Responsibilities
- Create, organize, and manage internal projects in Jira, ensuring accurate tracking of tasks and timelines.
- Develop and maintain processes for team time tracking and reporting to improve resource allocation and productivity.
- Coordinate and deliver clear communications regarding releases, updates, and initiatives from the Data Analytics organization.
- Define and manage project workstreams, schedules, and lead meetings to track progress, action items, and risks.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and deliverables.
- Document operational processes and maintain SOPs for internal projects.
- Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to organizational standards, processes, and policies.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies
- Proficiency in Jira and other project management tools.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
- Skilled in creating clear, concise documentation and communications for diverse audiences.
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
Experience/Certifications
- 3+ years of experience in project management or operations within a technology or analytics environment.
- Experience with Jira administration and reporting.
- Familiarity with time tracking tools and processes.
- PMP or similar certification is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
