Cloud Security Engineer

We're looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to join our growing team.

In this role, you'll collaborate with product teams to enhance our cloud platform, which powers consumer-facing applications. You'll contribute to architectural improvements, build secure and scalable features, and support development teams with hands-on coding and prototyping.

You'll also work with the Global Security Office to help identify and address platform-level security concerns, but the focus will be on enabling secure product development rather than deep security operations.

We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building secure and scalable cloud-native applications, and can work across teams to deliver great outcomes.

What we're looking for:

• Solid experience with AWS Cloud Architecture and basic security best practices
• Familiarity with Microservices Architecture and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
• Hands-on experience with DevOps and automation tools – Terraform, Git, Jenkins, SonarQube
• Strong coding skills in Python and/or Node.js, with experience contributing to production-grade applications
• Comfortable working with engineering teams to embed security-by-design principles into product features
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to mentor and support cross-functional teams
• You will report to a Senior Manager

Bonus skills – nice-to-have but not essential:

• Exposure to PKI or access management concepts
• Experience with security audits (e.g., SOC2, ISO27001)
• Familiarity with security standards or policies used by engineering teams
• Professional certifications (e.g., AWS, CISSP, CISM)
• Experience working in large-scale or multi-regional environments

• You should have 2- 4 yrs of total experience
• AWS Cloud Architecture
• Python
