About the role
We are searching for a passionate and driven Account Lead (Upper North Island) to lead Halter’s North Island Account Management function. This is an opportunity to be part of a positive disruption to our farming industry, to be directly shaping and impacting the use of Halter’s technology on thousands of farms across the Upper North Island.

This role can be located anywhere in the Auckland and Waikato regions. Frequent travel is required as part of the position.

What your day could look like
- Revenue Retention & Expansion: You will own the retention and expansion of Halter’s existing revenue in the region by working closely with farmers to ensure they are extracting full value, achieving their desired value proposition, and ultimately understanding the impact Halter is having on their farming business. By driving improved outcomes on farms, and identifying opportunities for further impact, you will be responsible for the retention & expansion of Halter’s revenue in the region.
- Account Management: lead customer engagement, building genuine, authentic and enduring relationships with our farmers and their teams, families and animals. Understand the right touch points and processes required to ensure farmers extract the full potential of Halter for their business.
- Training and Development: Adapt Halter’s existing processes to develop and implement training programs for your team, ensuring continuous skill enhancement and alignment with company objectives. Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration within the sales organisation.
- Lead a world-class Account Management team: Lead, manage and support the field-based Account Manager's, driving high performance and helping ensure the success of our customers across the region.
- Growth Initiatives: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to optimize and refine the Halter customer experience. Constantly looking for opportunities to innovate and upgrade our service.
