Accountabilities
- Design and prototype new and improved module and pack designs for battery systems.
- Investigate and evaluate innovative battery chemistries through literature reviews and partnerships.
- Model and simulate battery performance using tools like MATLAB/Simulink.
- Design experiments and testing protocols for assessing performance and safety.
- Analyze large data sets to evaluate performance and identify failure modes.
- Conduct safety assessments and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration into electric vehicles.
- Prepare technical reports, schematics, and documentation.
Requirements
- Expertise in high-voltage battery systems.
- Experience leading or working within a technical engineering team.
- Understanding of high-voltage battery design concepts.
- Ability to troubleshoot and integrate hardware into larger systems.
- Knowledge of battery state estimation and control algorithms.
