We are seeking a proactive and high-impact People Operations Specialist to strengthen operational excellence and frontline support within the People function. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on ownership, problem-solving, and process improvement, while providing practical guidance and support to a global, remote team. You will act as a key operator within the People team, managing day-to-day HR processes, maintaining systems, and driving scalable workflows that increase efficiency. The role offers the chance to influence People strategy, optimize operations, and contribute to a fast-moving, high-growth environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working autonomously in a dynamic, remote-first setting.
Accountabilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for People-related questions and issues across the company.
- Co-own People Operations initiatives from diagnosis to resolution, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and follow-through.
- Maintain HRIS data integrity, workflows, and lifecycle events, ensuring systems like HiBob remain accurate.
- Manage employee onboarding, performance cycles, and performance management tools such as Leapsome.
- Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and create self-service resources to simplify processes for team members.
- Identify inefficiencies, gaps, and bottlenecks in People processes and implement scalable solutions.
- Support leadership with People analytics, ad-hoc projects, and HR business partner initiatives.
Requirements:
Candidates should bring strong operational HR experience, technical proficiency, and excellent judgment in supporting a remote, multicultural workforce.
- 5+ years of HR / People experience, including 3+ years in a startup or tech environment.
- Experience supporting a global, remote-first team of 100+ employees.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms (HiBob or similar) and performance management tools (Leapsome or equivalent).
- Strong operational judgment, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Notion, Slack, Google Workspace).
- Ability to translate business priorities into practical People solutions.
- High integrity and discretion when handling sensitive employee information.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, low-process environment with high autonomy.
- Nice-to-have: exposure to crypto/Web3 environments, familiarity with on-chain basics, and technical curiosity for automation and AI tools.
